STREET VENDING: A GLIMPSE AT Arts & Crafts |
![]() A GLIMPSEMadison licenses artists and crafters who create a spectrum of beautiful and useful products handcrafted by themselves. No specific type of tent or display is required. This allows many creative presentational possibilities.![]() There'll be lots of loading and unloading. It is practical to organize a convenient product storage space at home or at the workplace. The transportation vehicle must be loaded the night or morning before vending, unloaded and set up for vending, reloaded at the end of the vending day, and unloaded again at home. Travel time must be considered because there is a 7:30 a.m. arrival deadline for those with regular Saturday site assignments on the outer Capitol Square. To avoid traffic congestion, vendors drive up to their site, unload, go park their vehicle for the day, and then return to the site to start setting up. Many vendors spend more than an hour setting up their displays. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() See you in downtown Madison! |
