CTH M & SThis intersection project, involving the City of Madison, Dane County, and Wisconsin Department of Transportation, is proposed to address growing traffic congestion, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit infrastructure shortcomings, and future growth. The city is currently evaluating alternatives, and construction could begin as early as 2011.
PLAN The current plan includes an at-grade intersection for North-bound CTH M/Junction Road and Mineral Point Road, and a split grade intersection for South-bound CTH M/Junction Road and Mineral Point Road. A seperate set of lanes are provided for the South-bound moving vehicles on CTH M/Junction Road to make turning movements on Mineral Point Road. To zoom in (pdf 1,230 KB)

PROJECT GEOMETRY APPROVALS The City of Madison is proposing a resolution to approve the geometry for the Mineral Point Road / CTH M Junction Road Construction. The topic will be brought before the following boards for review. If you wish to voice your concerns/opinion about this project please plan on attending one or more of the following meetings.
