ROAD SALT APPLICATION WORKSHOP

October 28, 2008 — 7:30 AM to noon

$25 Registration Fee/ $75 Group Fee

Checks may be made payable to:

Dane County Office of Lakes & Watersheds - LWRD

One Fen Oak Court, Room 234

Madison WI 53718-8812

Last year approximately 30 folks involved in the snow removal industry around the area attended our first winter road maintenance workshop. We felt this was a great turnout, given the short notice.

98% of the participants said that they would recommend the training to a co-worker.  Due to this positive feedback, it seemed like a good idea to have another training. There will be some changes in the materials from last year's workshop, as it is geared directly toward ROAD salt applicators, as opposed to parking lot/sidewalk applicators.

Another change is that we are asking for a $25 registration fee to help cover the costs. If there are more than 3 people in your group, we are offering a $75 group fee. We are uanble to process online payments, so we ask that you bring your payment to the workshop.
