NOVEMBER EPISODE

“Perils For Pedestrians” is a public affairs television series that looks at problems confronting pedestrians in communities like yours, and solutions to those problems from across the United States and around the world. This month we travel to Seattle, Wa where we meet Mike Mathieu, founder and chairman of Front Seat, a civic software company which created Walk Score a program that measures walk ability in neighborhoods. Next, we Andrea Tompski, mother whose son was hit by a car and has become a pedestrian advocate. Lastly we meet Karen Messmer, Olympia, WA councilmember who talks about a local sidewalk initiative in Olympia, WA.
