ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Metro Transit personnel review all applications to determine eligibility for the service. 

Staff may consult the appropriate professional regarding your eligibility at any stage of the determination process if it is deemed necessary.

Metro will make an eligibility determination within 21 days of receipt of a completed application.

Submitting an application does not guaranteed eligibility.

 
  The ADA identifies 3 Categories:

Category 1 (unable to ride without assistance)

 

 

•

Category 2 (able to ride fixed-route with assistance of wheelchair lift)

 

 

•

Category 3 (unable to access fixed-route stops)
