The North Star Neighborhood (formerly the McClellan Park Neighborhood) is located on the East Side of Madison, Wisconsin. Our neighborhood includes the Grandview Commons, Covered Bridge, Birchwood Ridge, Rustic Acres, and Jubilee subdivisions. Single-family homes, condominiums, and apartments provide housing options for all ages and income levels. For those that like the principles of traditional neighborhood design, one area of the neighborhood has craft architectural design, front porches, and alleys. North Star, McClellan, and Galaxy Parks offer playgrounds and recreational activities for visitors. Our active neighborhood hosts numerous activities and community events for residents and friends. A summertime live-music fest (North Star Fest) was introduced in 2021, the Capitol View Farmers' Market held on Wednesdays from 3:00-7:00pm from late May through mid-October.
