Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: University Apartments is a home to students and faculty (and their families) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The multifamily complex has two and three story buildings, an onsite childcare facility, and a community center that provides programming for the young to older adult. We are definitely a community that spans the world: it is common to have over 60 different spoken languages within our thriving community. Residents take an active part in planning activities and services for the community. The Eagle Heights Assembly and its committees address the needs of residents of the community. These groups work with staff to respond to community issues, make recommendations regarding policy, and assist in the planning and implementation of services and programs for the community. University Apartments is located in a peaceful natural setting adjacent to the University of Wisconsin’s Eagle Heights Community Gardens and within the Lakeshore Nature Preserve.
