Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: Oakwood Village West is a Lutheran church-sponsored, not-for-profit, locally operated organization continuing care retirement communities located on the far west side of Madison. Our community serves older persons in a continuum of care ranging from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care. Oakwood Village West is located on 30 wooded acres. The wooded area has walking paths for residents to enjoy the outdoors.
Neighborhood Boundaries: Oakwood Village West is located at 6201-6225 Mineral Point Road; Oakwood Village East is located at 5565 Tancho Drive.
Neighborhood Statistics Indicators: The Neighborhood Indicators Project is a demonstration of key characteristics and various indicators that relate to the quality of life in Madison at the neighborhood level. Basic neighborhood information as well as housing, public safety, health and family well-being, economic, and transportation indicators by neighborhood is available.
