Beach Details

Due to lower lake water levels in 2023, the clean beach system, including the pump and filtration curtain, was removed at Bernie's Beach to prevent damage to the system. The water quality will continue to be monitored by PHMDC.

The beach is closed for swimming due to elevated levels of bacteria tested on 7/22/2024. The beach will reopen when bacteria levels are acceptable.
