STEPS TO VOLUNTEERING
We have a volunteer position for everyone! There are spots for outgoing volunteers and spots for people who want to work behind the scenes. You have the option of different positions, locations and shifts. Please continue reading for more information.
STEP 1: Choose your volunteer role for Ride the Drive based on your preference from the descriptions and shift times. View Volunteer Roles and Shifts.
STEP 2: Choose the volunteer shift that works for you and the click "Register." You will then be asked to enter your contact information. Once you sign up to volunteer, you will receive an email confirmation.
STEP 3: It is recommended, but not mandatory, that all new Ride the Drive volunteers attend Â the Volunteer Training, held on May 30 at 6:00pm. The training will be held at the City of Madison, Goodman Maintenance Facility at 1402 Wingra Creek Parkway, Madison, WI 53715.
STEP 4: Report to the location that you signed up for on the day of Ride the Drive. That is where you will receive your volunteer t-shirt, meet your volunteer captain and receive further instructions.
STEP 5: Enjoy your day and encourage your friends and family to also volunteer or come out and enjoy the event.
It is recommended, but not mandatory, that all new Ride the Drive volunteers attend the appropriate Volunteer Training, to be held the week before the event.
