Sunday, we were blessed to have a life group from Blackhawk Church choose the WPD to do a community service project with! Blue sky and relatively warm weather ruled the day (along with donuts and bagels). Both young and old chipped in with weed pulling, mulching and pruning, and as the old adage says, "Many hands make work light". We were able to accomplish in one day, what would have taken a couple of people all summer. The grounds at the West District now look great!! We very much appreciate the Blackhawk group for giving up their personal time on a Sunday to help us out and make us a presentable community neighbor.
The below photo only captured about half the group that showed up on Sunday.
