Now that school is back in session, please remember to slow down and drive safely, especially in school zones. MPD frequently receives complaints about poor driving around schools: excessive speed, failing to yield to pedestrians, etc. Unfortunately, we also investigate too many traffic accidents around schools...so please make the effort to drive with caution around schools and keep our kids safe...
