My name is Ken Brown and I am currently assigned to the Central District as the Neighborhood Resource Officer. I have been with the Madison Police Department for 5 years, as a patrol officer working in the East District and Central District. Prior to being hired by MPD I was a Probation and Parole Agent with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for 6 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Gustavus Adolphus College located in St. Peter, MN. I have called Madison my home for 17 years and love this City and all it has to offer. During my off time I enjoy spending time with my family, and friends. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and love camping in Northern Wisconsin. I am an avid Wisconsin sports fan and love the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. When time permits I love reading, and listening to music and my preferred medium is vinyl and my collection is extensive. Each and every day when I come to work and put on the uniform I am honored to serve the fine citizens of the City of Madison. I truly love being a Police Officer and look forward to a long and fulfilling career.
