My name is Caroline Essert and I am beginning my 11th year with City of Madison Police Department. I worked in the Property Room for 7 years and now am in the Court Services section of the Records Department. I spent 2 years working as the Tow/Impound Clerk and have transitioned to the Criminal Traffic Court Liaison position.
I have assisted with inventories for the Safe Communities MedDrop program, pick up locations at the East and West district stations, https://safercommunity.net/meddrop/, and with the Arrest Processing Centers for special events. I have appreciated these opportunities to assist the public and my family in blue. I enjoy finding answers to their questions and helping with problem solving. Prior to joining the MPD, I worked for the Town of Madison Police Department for 6 years. I look forward to many more years here at MPD.
