My name is Sara Klebig, and I am the Police Report Typist (PRT) for the Dane County Narcotics Task Force (DCNTF), which is a unit within the Madison Police Department. I have been with MPD for just over 5 years, with my first year as a "floater," going to the District offices that needed a back-up PRT, and at DCNTF for 4 years. I absolutely enjoy being a part of MPD and especially DCNTF. It is an awesome group of Command staff, Detectives and undercover Officers who are doing everything in their power to fight the war on drugs. We are like a big family, and I'm so proud and fortunate to be one of them.
Prior to MPD, I worked as an administrative assistant at Columbus, Georgia PD, after spending 25 years in California, working as a secretary for the City of Victorville and previously as a legal secretary in Los Angeles. I am originally from Eau Claire.
On my off time you can find me at home with my hubby, 2 cats and a dog. I love Halloween, cooking (I make some mean homemade tortilla chips), shoe shopping, and spending time with my family. I am an ovarian cancer survivor and am spreading the word to be your own advocate of your health and wellness.
