I am seeing a number of theft from auto cases in which windows were broken out of cars, and purses or bags that were left in plain view were stolen. Now, not only are these victims potentially the subject of other victimization by criminals using their credit cards or ID's, they also have hundreds of dollars of damage to their vehicles.
Again, a reminder to keep your purses/bags/valuables out of sight. Take it with you or lock it in the trunk!
