On Tuesday, a group of volunteers hosted a Police Appreciation event in honor of Police Week. It was a huge success with over a 100 community members and officers attending.
A special thanks goes out to the volunteers who made it happen, Paula Fitzsimmons, Sister Ann McCullough, Cindy Hodgeman, Angelo Marzullo, Pat and Jim Rogeberg, Dave and Cheryl Glomp, Alan Kim, Brad Pottinger, James Franklin and Merle Bengston.
The community partners who donated various items were MIdwest Family Broadcasting, Rosati's Pizza, Pick 'n Save, Blue Plate Catering and Metcalfe's Market. Thanks to all for making the officers feel appreciated!
