Crime stats for the West District show some good news and some bad.
We have had a 56% decrease in shootings in the district in May and June of 2018 compared to the same time period in 2017. That is the good news!
We have had a 165% increase in stolen autos in June of 2018 compared to June of 2017, that is the bad news. Remember most but not all of these stolen autos are preventable by NOT leaving your keys in your vehicle and by locking your doors.
