Yesterday our Traffic Enforcement Safety Team (TEST) spent about 3 hours in the 200 blk of S Whitney Wy near Marathon. While actively snowing with a 1/2" of accumulation on the roadway, TEST made 25 stops for speeding. The area is posted for 30 MPH. The highest speeder was traveling at 48 MPH with the average being about 42 MPH.
Please watch your speeds, particularly during our adverse winter weather when slick roads will make it harder to stop!
