Lt Kamoske is our new South District Detective Lieutenant and oversees our Detectives, supervises investigations, and reviews reports. I asked her for a short summary of herself which is below.
I joined the Madison Police Department in 1998, after graduating from UW-Madison with a B.A. in Behavioral Science and Law and a Certificate in Criminal Justice. Prior to becoming the Detective Lieutenant of the South District, I have worked within several areas of the department as an officer with the Safety Education Unit, Central District Community Policing Team and Task Force. As a detective, I worked in the South District, in the Violent Crimes Unit, and most recently, in the Special Victims Unit.
I am a lifelong Dane County resident, growing up in DeForest, and now living in Madison since college. I love this city and its residents, and honestly can't imagine doing this job anywhere else. I am looking forward to my time in the South District and hope to meet and work with many of you. Please feel free to contact me with questions.
