Detective Amanda Analla
I joined the Madison Police Department in 2008, after graduating from Milwaukee Area Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Communications at Ashford University. Prior to becoming a Detective of the West District, I have worked in various areas of the department. I worked in Patrol and covered many districts, I was a member of the South Community Policing Team, and most recently was the Bram's Addition Neighborhood Officer on the South side.(Go Southside Raiders!!!) Prior to becoming a police officer, I was a security officer at St. Joseph's Hospital and worked in the mailroom at an insurance company. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside, watching sports, listening to music, and being with friends.
I grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee and moved to the City of Madison for the job. Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to be a police officer. I am honored to be working for the City of Madison Police Department and have enjoyed the relationships that I have built on the department and in the community. I am a board member of our MPD Pride and I am looking forward to continuing to build trust into the communities that we serve. I am excited for my new position and will continue to serve and protect with pride and honor.
