Last month, MPD's community outreach unit was contacted by a case manager for adults with disabilities. The case manager explained that someone she supported was interested in everything related to first responders.
The community outreach team hosted Ryan (pictured, in backward hat) at our Midtown station last week. He got to sit in a squad car, visit the property room, tour the entire station and meet a number of officers. Here is visitor Ryan and Officer Ryan, talking intently over all things law enforcement.
