Torch Run today!

Today, a variety of Dane County law enforcement agencies took part in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.  This is a fund raiser for the Special Olympics state program.  Some of us will be also volunteering tomorrow in Stevens Point, WI for the Special Olympics State Games.

Some participants run legs, up to 9 miles in length, some bike to Portage, and some even bike the 110 miles to Stevens Point!

Thanks to all who participated in this fantastic event that makes such a difference in the athletes lives.
