COPS Kids Camp

Each year, a number of MPD officers volunteer with different duties at the week long COPS Kids Camp.  This is a camp for children of officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, from all over the country.  Unfortunately, there are hundreds of kids who attend.   Volunteers also came from Chicago PD, St Francis PD and Milwaukee PD.  This was a great experience for both the kids and the volunteers.

Here we are,  teaching some of the kids to fish.  Lots of fish caught including a 15" bass by a young lady that won the big fish of the day award!
