Road Construction in the West District - Changing Metro Route 50

The road construction on McKenna Blvd near Elver Park is complete with all lanes now open.

Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, Speedway Sand & Gravel Inc. will close the intersection of Schroeder Road and Struck Street in order to construct underground facilities as part of the McKenna Boulevard Flood Mitigation Project Phase 2. The intersection of Schroeder Road and Struck Street will reopen by September 1.

The Metro Route 50 will detour to Watts Road and Rayovac Drive.
