Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over - Extra Traffic Enforcement in August

The Madison Police Department, in partnership with the Dane County Sheriff's Office, will be providing extra patrols that specifically enforce speed and alcohol laws throughout the month of August. These additional enforcement efforts are made possible through traffic overtime grants provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Consider downloading the free Drive Sober mobile app: https://witrafficsafety.org/ Along with a designated driver selector, it includes a find-a-ride feature that uses a smart phone's GPS system to locate alternative transportation.
