OWI Enforcement - University Ave

The Madison PD will be conducting an enhanced traffic enforcement project tonight in the downtown area focusing on drunk driving.

According to NHTSA, every day, about 28 people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes -- that's one person every 52 minutes.

Drive sober, get a ride, taxi (Madison Taxi, Green Cab, Union Cab)... just don't drive drunk.

These additional enforcement efforts are made possible through traffic overtime grants provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
