The Madison PD will be conducting an enhanced traffic enforcement project today on the Beltline. Officers will be focussing on speeding and seatbelt violations.
According to the CDC, More than half (range: 51%-60%) of teens (13-19 years) and adults aged 20-44 years who died in crashes in 2018 were not buckled up at the time of the crash.
Please slow down and buckle-up.
These additional enforcement efforts are made possible through traffic overtime grants provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
