Traffic Enforcement in Midtown District

Hello Midtown,

 

In addition to our ongoing strategic plan work on enforcing dangerous driving, we get assistance from our TEST (Traffic Enforcement and Safety Team) and other officers.

 

On 7/8, a group of officers worked a speed wave traffic safety initiative on WB Belt/ Whitney.     There were five stop cars able to make 34 total stops.   30 stops were made for speed, 3 fail to yield to emergency vehicle and 1 equipment.   The highest speed stopped was 79, and the lowest speed stopped was 70.
