Park Edge/Park Ridge Listening Session

Last Thursday, the City hosted a community listening session for the Park Edge/Park Ridge neighborhood.  Mayor Soglin, District 1 Alder Lisa Subeck, and members of the Park Edge/Park Ridge neighborhood resource team participated.  The group met with residents to identify issues/concerns, and to discuss possible strategies to strengthen the neighborhood.  MPD West District personnel also participated; Officer Caleb Johnson and Lieutenant Marianne Flynn Statz are seen below talking to residents and other City staffers:

 

 

 

Meetings like this demonstrate the City's commitment to work with residents when identifying and addressing community problems, and the ability of City agencies to work together on coordinated approaches to neighborhood issues.
