Shout-Out to Officer Mark Allen

A citizen emailed MPD with a compliment for Officer Mark Allen which stated the following:

 

"Early Sunday morning, officer Mark Allen (2772) responded to a call from passer-byes reporting an old injured dog walking in the gutter. He responded quickly and took her the emergency vet where we found her the next day. His efficiency and compassion were inspiring and I am sure these characteristics make him an excellent police officer."

 

Thank you Officer Allen for your caring service!  Thank you as well to the citizen who wrote to us about this.  We appreciate it!
