The South District has started an Officer Liaison program in 2016. In the coming weeks, South District Patrol Officers will be reaching out to their assigned neighborhood associations, schools, churches, or other assigned areas. Liaisons will serve as a primary point of contact for any neighborhood or community issues that arise during the year. Officers have been asked to respond to issues as they are able to, share information about their liaison assignment to other MPD personnel and to take the lead on any problem solving efforts for their assigned area/association/school.
