The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 06/07/2022 through 6:00 a.m. on 06/08/2022, MPD received 504 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (87),East (103), Midtown (77), North (74), South (38), West (83), and Other (42). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Priority calls only from 8:04 p.m. to 10:01 p.m. due to calls for service.
EAST: Death Investigation – 8:37 a.m. Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (67-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
EAST: Disturbance – 10:19 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 34-year-old male suspect. The suspect was arrested for criminal damage to property and trespassing.
NORTH: Death Investigation – 10:30 a.m. Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (60-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
EAST: Mental Health Conveyance – 12:52 p.m. Officers responded to a suicidal subject running in and out of traffic. The subject was conveyed to a local hospital. CARES and Journey Mental Health plugged in. An emergency detention was not supported. The subject was left in the care of medical staff and officers disengaged.
NORTH: Traffic Arrest – 2:51 p.m. A 24-year-old male suspect was arrested for eluding, bail jumping (4 counts), resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Other agencies had additional charges for the suspect.
WEST: Adult Arrested Person – 4:15 p.m. A 38-year-old male was arrested for unlawful use of computerized communication systems (2 counts), disorderly conduct (2 counts) and obstructing.
EAST: Missing Adult – 5:41 p.m. A 18-year-old female was reported as missing. Attempt to locate aired. The subject was listed as missing in the appropriate databases.
MIDTOWN: Mental Health Conveyance – 7:01 p.m. Officers received a request to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject. Subject located unresponsive. Naloxone administered. The subject was revived and became combative with officers. The subject was conveyed to a local hospital. Journey Mental Health consulted. Subject admitted and left in the care of medical staff. Officers disengaged.
EAST: Sexual Assault – 7:54 p.m. Officers met with a victim who reported being sexually assaulted. Investigation continuing.
NORTH: Check Person – 8:21 p.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of an injured subject. The subject was conveyed to a local hospital and voluntarily admitted. Officers disengaged.
EAST: Missing/Runaway Juvenile – 11:43 p.m. Two juveniles (15-year-old females) were reported as missing/runaways. Attempt to locate aired. The juveniles were listed as missing/runaways in the appropriate databases.

SOUTH: Assist MFD – 1:38 a.m. Officers responded, along with MFD, to a house on fire. No injuries reported. Investigation continuing.
