The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Tuesday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 12/30/2022 through 6:00 a.m. on 01/03/2023, MPD received 1,253 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (229), East (259), Midtown (198), North (196), South (132), West (167), and Other (72). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 7:47 a.m. A 41-year-old male suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstruction and a probation/parole hold.
SOUTH: Adult Arrested Person – 10:35 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old male suspect. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct, sexual assault (4th degree), possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, stalking and numerous counts of felony bail jumping.
NORTH: Death Investigation – 11:15 a.m. A 56-year-old male was located deceased at his residence. Decedent had a history of drug use. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
WEST: Recovered Juvenile – 11:12 a.m. A missing/runaway juvenile from Idaho was located/recovered.
MIDTOWN: Domestic Disturbance – 11:45 a.m. A 48-year-old male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct (2 counts), domestic criminal damage to property and an outstanding warrant.
CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 3:56 p.m. A 39-year-old male was arrested on outstanding probable cause for disorderly conduct.
MIDTOWN: Mental Health Conveyance – 4:35 p.m. A subject was transported to Winnebago.
NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 4:39 p.m. A 48-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery.
CENTRAL: Domestic Disturbance – 5:49 p.m. A 52-year-old male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 10:21 p.m. A 33-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct and domestic intimidation of a victim.
EAST: Intoxicated Driver – 10:24 p.m. Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash. A 52-year-old female driver/suspect was found to be impaired. The suspect was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense) and reckless driving.
NORTH: Adult Arrested Person – 10:25 p.m. A 67-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
MIDTOWN: Disturbance – 11:00 p.m. A 44-year-old female was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping.

CENTRAL: Disturbance – 1:57 a.m. A 23-year-old male was arrested for criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and obstructing.
EAST: Assist MFD – 11:06 a.m. Officers responded, along with MFD, to a small fire at a residential garage. No injuries or significant property damage.
WEST: Adult Arrested Person – 11:20 a.m. A 44-year-old male who was wanted was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and battery.
MIDTOWN: Adult Arrested Person – 11:28 a.m. A 31-year-old male with outstanding warrants was taken into custody.
NORTH: Check Area – 11:30 a.m. Officers responded to reports of shots fired on Wright St. Areas checked. No reports of injuries or property damage. No evidence of shots fired located.
EAST: Disturbance – 5:25 p.m. A 21-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct (2 counts).
EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 6:21 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 27-year-old male suspect. The suspect was not on scene when officers arrived. Probable cause developed to arrest the suspect once he is located.
MIDTOWN: Domestic Disturbance – 7:52 p.m. A 58-year-old male in jail made threatening phone calls. Additional charges for domestic disorderly conduct were added for the suspect.
EAST: Check Area – 9:50 p.m. Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 2800 block of E. Washington Ave. No reported injuries or property damage. No evidence of shots fired located.
CENTRAL: Disturbance – 11:05 p.m. A 24-year-old female was arrested for resisting after being uncooperative at detox.
CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 11:44 p.m. Officers observed a firearm in a vehicle. A 28-year-old male suspect was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and a probation/parole hold. The firearm was reported as stolen.

WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 12:07 a.m. A 33-year-old male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct (2 counts), domestic 2nd degree reckless endangering safety and resisting.
SOUTH: Strong Armed Robbery – 2:32 a.m. A vehicle was stolen by two suspects, after reportedly pulling the victim from the vehicle. A gun was reportedly involved. The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases. Investigation continuing. *It was later reported that the "victim" had crashed the vehicle. The victim/suspect (37-year-old male) was arrested for misuse of 911 and obstructing.
WEST: Disturbance – 5:06 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance with two subjects having minor injuries. Investigation continuing.
SOUTH: Assist MFD – 5:59 a.m. Officers responded, along with MFD, to report of smoke at a residence. Nothing suspicious identified. MFD has the lead on this investigation.
NORTH: Disturbance – 8:17 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance with a possible gun involved. No subjects cooperative with officers when they arrived. Investigation continuing.
MIDTOWN: Child Abuse – 1:23 p.m. Officers received a child abuse report. Contact made with several subjects. Child Protective Services notified. Investigation continuing.
NORTH: Adult Arrested Person – 4:00 p.m. A 30-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants.
NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 4:08 p.m. A 36-year-old female was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property.
CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 4:13 p.m. A 26-year-old male was arrested for attempted battery to emergency medical care provider and resisting.
NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 4:58 p.m. A 45-year-old female was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and outstanding charges.
MIDTOWN: Domestic Disturbance – 4:58 p.m. A 29-year-old female was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.
SOUTH: Unwanted Person – 5:29 p.m. A 39-year-old female was arrested for trespassing, resisting, disorderly conduct, felony bail jumping and outstanding warrants.
NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 6:30 p.m. A 17-year-old male was arrested for 1st degree domestic reckless endangering safety and 2nd degree domestic reckless endangering safety.
EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 8:17 p.m. During a traffic stop a passenger/suspect (55-year-old male) was arrested for possession of cocaine and outstanding warrants.
NORTH: Missing/Runaway Juvenile – 9:23 p.m. A 17-year-old female was reported as missing/runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 1:06 a.m. A 56-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
CENTRAL: Domestic Disturbance – 1:15 a.m. A 39-year-old female was arrested for domestic battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
SOUTH: Domestic Disturbance – 1:49 a.m. A 33-year-old male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic battery.
CENTRAL: Disturbance – 2:07 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a large fight which had dispersed by the time officers arrived. A vehicle was located with a firearm in plain view. Vehicle towed. Investigation continuing.
NORTH: Check Person – 8:00 a.m. Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject. The subject was contacted and no legal action deemed necessary at this time. Officers disengaged.
CENTRAL: Death Investigation – 10:46 a.m. A 65-year-old male was located deceased at his residence. Evidence of drug use present. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified at this time.
MIDTOWN: Theft – 2:06 p.m. Officers responded to a theft by an employee complaint. A 54-year-old male was arrested for theft, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping and a probation hold.
MIDTOWN: Domestic Disturbance – 3:20 p.m. A 34-year-old male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, battery, resisting, battery to law enforcement, possession of schedule I narcotics, possession of another subject's prescription medicine and misdemeanor bail jumping.
EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 3:59 p.m. A 41-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants.
NORTH: Adult Arrested Person – 4:10 p.m. A 29-year-old male was arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 5:53 p.m. A 20-year-old female was arrested for disorderly conduct.
WEST: Disturbance – 7:46 p.m. Officers responded to a theatre for a 36-year-old male suspect who had ingested psychedelic mushrooms and had stripped naked in front of movie goers. The suspect was arrested for lewd/lascivious behavior, disorderly conduct (2 counts), possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation/parole hold.
CENTRAL: Residential Burglary – 8:48 p.m. A victim reported having their home burglaries over the holidays. Investigation continuing.
EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 10:33 p.m. A 34-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery and disorderly conduct.
WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 11:31 p.m. A 23-year-old female was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
WEST: Disturbance – 11:54 p.m. A 42-year-old male was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
