The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

Priority calls only from 10:10pm to 11:13pm due to calls for service.

07/18

SOUTH: Stolen Bicycle – 5:50 am. The victim reported his bicycle was stolen from where he parked it under a security camera at the Fairfield Inn. Investigation continuing.

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 7:14 am. Officers responded to an address for a report of someone knocking repeatedly on the door. Officers made contact with a 30-year-old male subject who had a warrant for his arrest. The man was taken into custody without incident.

SOUTH: Stolen Auto – 7:36 am. The victim reported his vehicle was stolen from the 2500 block of Frazier Ave. The vehicle was listed as stolen and an ATL was aired.

NORTH: Death Investigation – 8:18 am. A 67-year-old man was found deceased in his residence. Nothing suspicious on scene.

MIDTOWN: Bomb Threat – 9:21 am. A caller to dispatch reported that the 31-year-old male suspect told him he was going to blow up Macy's. The suspect admitted to officers that he made the threat but that he had no intention of carrying it out and had no means of doing so. An officer walked with a K9 through Macy's and nothing suspicious was located. The suspect was charged with terrorist threats and computer message threaten injury or harm.

WEST: Death Investigation – 11:25 am. Family members discovered a 71-year-old man deceased in his residence. Nothing suspicious on scene.

WEST: Death Investigation – 3:26 pm. A 65-year-old man was found deceased in his residence. Nothing suspicious on scene.

EAST: Retail Theft – 4:29 pm. Officers responded to Dick's Sporting Goods where the 20-year-old female suspect stole $575 worth of merchandise. The suspect was arrested for retail theft and disorderly conduct.

WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 6:35 pm. Officers responded to Dairy Queen where the 25-year-old male suspect and victim were arguing. The suspect struck the victim and pushed an ice cream cone in her face. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic disorderly conduct and battery.

MIDTOWN: Armed Robbery – 6:56 pm. A victim reported he met with the 17-year-old male suspect to sell him a jacket. The suspect lifted his shirt to expose a handgun in his waistband and left the scene with the jacket.  Investigation continuing. Suspect is at large.
