The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 9/10/2024 through 6:00 a.m. on 9/11/2024, MPD received 469 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (83),East (99), Midtown (83), North (85), South (54), West (56), and Other (9). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Priority calls only from 4:03pm to 6:52pm due to calls for service.

Priority calls only from 10:25pm to 11:31pm due to calls for service.

West/Adult Arrested Person – 6:23am: Officers responded to a report of a 31-year-old male subject banging his head on the glass at a business. The subject was contacted and found to have been the subject/driver that fled from Middleton PD. The subject was issued several citations and turned over to Middleton PD.

North/Runaway Juvenile – 9:47am: A 15-year-old female subject was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The subject was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.

Midtown/Violation of a Court Order – 9:53am: Probable cause was developed for a 42-year-old male subject who is currently in jail. Charges – felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping, and domestic intimidation of a victim.

Central/Check Person – 1pm: A subject was found heavily intoxicated and rolling around in the street. The subject was transported to detox.

Central/Check Property – 1:50pm: A bullet hole was reported at a residence. Investigation continuing.

Central/Death Investigation – 1:57pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject (77-year-old male). Entry made to the residence and the subject was located deceased. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.

Midtown/Crash – 3:56pm: A driver/vehicle crashed into the dividing wall between eastbound and westbound traffic on the beltline. Several subjects injured and transported to local hospitals. MPD Traffic Specialized responded. Driver (19-year-old female) issued citations. Additional follow-up taking place.

North/Check Person – 4:31pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject. The subject was contacted and determined to be intoxicated and trespassing. The subject was transported to detox and cited for trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Central/Check Person – 9:20pm: Officers responded to check the welfare of the caller who appeared intoxicated and frightened. The caller reported being sexually assaulted. Limited information obtained. The subject was transported to a local hospital. Investigation continuing. A 22-year-old male subject (unrelated to the incident) was contacted by officers during this call and was found to have a probation hold. He was arrested/transported to jail.

South/Adult Arrested Person – 10:13pm: Officers responded to a 911 disconnect call. A 61-year-old male subject was contacted and found to be trespassing. The subject was arrested for criminal trespass to dwelling and disorderly conduct.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 12:54am: Officers responded to a business for a report of an unwanted subject (43-year-old male). The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting, stalking, and possession of cocaine.
