The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 11/13/2024 through 6:00 a.m. on 11/14/2024, MPD received 427 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (54),East (76), Midtown (88), North (83), South (42), West (74), and Other (10). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Midtown/Disturbance – 5:07am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 36-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, false imprisonment, obstructing, and a probation hold.
West/Theft from Auto – 5:53am: Numerous reports of thefts from auto/damage to property reported in an apartment complex parking lot. Investigation continuing.
South/Domestic Disturbance – 12:22pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 29-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
Midtown/Drug Incident – 1:11pm: Officers responded to a report of a pulseless non-breathing subject. Naloxone was administered and the subject was revived. The subject was transported to a local hospital. Final outcome pending.
West/Domestic Disturbance – 2pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 40-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and a probation hold.
West/Fight Call – 5:39pm: Officers responded to a report of a large fight with a bat and gun mentioned. Officers arrived on scene and most parties had left. A 28-year-old male subject was cited for disorderly conduct. Investigation continuing.
South/Sexual Assault – 9:58pm: Officers responded to a sexual assault report. Investigation continuing.
Central/Disturbance – 11:01pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 25-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct (with a hate crime enhancer), threats to law enforcement, and fraud.
