The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 1/31/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 2/3/2025, MPD received 1,149 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (205),East (252), Midtown (220), North (182), South (110), West (162), and Other (18). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

East/Runaway Juvenile – 10:23am: A 14-year-old male subject was reported as a runaway. The juvenile has a history of running away. Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.
North/Trespass – 11:01am: Officers responded to a report of a 28-year-old male subject present at a location he is banned from. The subject was contacted, cited for unlawful trespassing, and released.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 11:19am: Officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject (44-year-old male). The subject was found to have outstanding probable cause for theft and bail jumping. The subject was hiding in the bushes when the officers arrived. The subject was arrested and transported to jail.
North/Stolen Auto – 12:51pm: Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Attempt to locate aired. The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases. *Vehicle recovered in Waukesha. A 33-year-old male subject was arrested.
North/Battery – 4:06pm Officers responded to a local hospital for a subject who arrived with injuries. The victim reported being battered by their significant other. Probable cause developed to arrest the suspect, who remains at-large. *The 35-year-old male suspect was arrested for battery, mayhem, and 5 outstanding warrants.
Central/Disturbance – 5:10pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
East/Traffic Arrest – 10:02pm: A traffic stop attempted, and the driver/subject (38-year-old male) fled. No pursuit took place. Vehicle/subject located at their residence. The subject was arrested for eluding and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 10:17pm: Short-term trafficking was observed by officers. Contact was made with the vehicle/occupants. A 32-year-old male subject was not cooperative with officers. Marijuana, a handgun, and cash were located/recovered. The subject was arrested for resisting, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession with intent to deliver THC.
Midtown/Disturbance – 11:44pm: Officers responded to a local hospital for a disturbance involving a 23-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for resisting, discharge of bodily fluids, and battery to a health care worker.

Central/Check Person – 12:50am: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject down in the street. The subject was found conscious, with a head injury. The subject was transported to a local hospital. The subject is not aware of what occurred. The subject was left in the care of medical staff.
Central/Intoxicated Driver – 3:03am: A driver (22-year-old male) was pulled over for going the wrong way. The subject was found to be impaired. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense).
South/Intoxicated Driver – 4:35am: A traffic stop was conducted. The driver (23-year-old female) was found to be impaired. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense) and released to a responsible party.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 7:22am: Officers responded to a report of a 37-year-old male subject causing a disturbance on a bus. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
West/Disturbance – 8:25am: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a 24-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic criminal damage to property.
Central/Missing Person – 9:24am: Officers received a report of a missing 21-year-old male subject. Attempt to locate aired. Phone ping conducted. Areas checked. The subject was entered as missing in the appropriate databases.
North/Adult Arrested Person - 12:57pm: A 28-year-old male subject was arrested from a location he was banned from. The subject was also arrested on outstanding probable cause (arson).
Midtown/Adult Arrested Person – 2:47pm: A 55-year-old male subject (wanted) was taken into custody on a probation warrant.
Central/Check Person – 3:39pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject. An emergency phone ping was conducted. The subject was located. Officers assisted with facilitating voluntary treatment options for the subject.

North/Disturbance – 1:33am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 54-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and two outstanding warrants.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 2:32am: A 38-year-old male subject was threatening patrons at a business. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 3:36am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery and two counts of domestic disorderly conduct.
Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 4:29am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 34-year-old male subject (not on scene when officers arrived). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
West/Death Investigation – 7:48am: Officers responded to a report of a pulseless non-breathing subject (68-year-old male). Lifesaving measures were attempted but were not successful. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
West/Domestic Disturbance – 11:27am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 41-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.
South/Adult Arrested Person – 2:58pm: Officers responded to a 911 disconnect call. A 34-year-old female subject was arrested on outstanding probable cause.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 4:23pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 48-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
Midtown/Check Person – 6pm – Officers responded, along with EMS, to a report of a pulseless non-breathing subject. The subject was located with a gunshot wound. The subject was pronounced deceased. Nothing suspicious identified.
Midtown/Disturbance – 8:03pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 25-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct while armed and criminal damage to property.
South/Death Investigation – 20:33pm: Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (60-year-old female). Decedent had a history of health/medical concerns. Nothing suspicious identified.
