The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 02/06/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 02/07/2025, MPD received 489 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (73), East (96), Midtown (95), North (63), South (60), West (80), and Other (22). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Priority calls only from 3:40pm until 6:10pm and from 6:40pm until 10:45pm due to calls for service.
02/06
WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 8:41 am. The victim reported that the 31-year-old male suspect punched and scratched her. Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Suspect is at large.
SOUTH: Stolen Auto – 9:27 am. Victim reported her vehicle stolen from her driveway. Vehicle was unlocked with key in center console. Officers listed the vehicle as stolen and aired an ATL.
MIDTOWN: Weapons Offense – 10:23 am. Officers responded to a business where the 19-year-old male suspect accidentally discharged a firearm in a storage area. No one was struck or injured by the bullet. The suspect was arrested for discharging a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, receiving stolen property, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping.
CENTRAL: Disturbance – 2:07 pm. Officers responded to Taco Bell where the 44-year-old female suspect knocked items over and threw a beverage at employees. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
NORTH: OMVWI – 2:27 pm. Officers responded to the 1100 block of N Sherman Ave where the 27-year-old male suspect drove his vehicle into a building. The suspect was arrested for OWI 2nd.
CENTRAL: Residential Burglary – 6:21 pm. Officers responded to a residence where the 35-year-old male suspect forced entry to an apartment and damaged property. The suspect was arrested and charged with burglary, trespassing, damage to property and disorderly conduct.
NORTH: Disturbance Unwanted Person – 6:32 pm. Officers responded to a Metro bus where the 60-year-old male suspect was intoxicated and causing a disturbance. The suspect was cited for trespassing.
NORTH: OMVWI – 8:53 pm. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Myrtle St where the 42-year-old female suspect was unconscious in the driver seat of her vehicle. The suspect was arrested for OWI 6th and possession of heroin.
CENTRAL: Disturbance – 11:27 pm. Officers responded to a residence where the 21-year-old male suspect was causing a commotion and banging on a neighbor's door. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct.

MIDTOWN: Battery – 3:12 am. Officers responded to a residence where the 39-year-old female suspect struck the victim. The suspect was arrested and charged with battery.
