The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 2/12/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 2/13/2025, MPD received 397 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (50),East (94), Midtown (81), North (65), South (42), West (55), and Other (10). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Priority calls only from 6:07pm to 9:51pm due to calls for service.
Central/Disturbance – 4:08am: Officers responded to a 911 disconnect call. The exact origin could not be determined, and nothing was located in the area. An hour later, police were dispatched to a specific address in the area for a disturbance involving a 50-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery, domestic intimidation of a victim, and domestic disorderly conduct.
Midtown/Check Person – 10:12am: Officers responded to a report of a subject in need of an emergency detention. The subject was transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance. Transport to Winnebago pending. *Transport completed.
West/Sexual Assault – 10:25am: A sexual assault was reported. Investigation continuing.
West/Death Investigation – 10:50am: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (76-year-old male subject). Decedent had a history of health/medical concerns. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
East/Missing Adult – 3:18pm: A 78-year-old male subject was reported as missing. Attempt to locate aired. The subject was entered as missing in the appropriate databases.
East/Trespass – 3:58pm: Officers responded to a business for a trespass complaint involving a 37-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for retail theft, resisting, misdemeanor bail jumping (2 counts), and felony bail jumping (2 counts).
North/Domestic Disturbance – 7:59pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 23-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and a probation hold.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 10:29pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery and a probation hold.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 11:57pm: Officers responded to check the welfare of a subject (20-year-old female) in a church who did not appear to be coherent. The subject was contacted and was unable to provide officers with information about where they lived or anything else really. Officers went to place the subject into protective custody when she began to actively resist officers. The subject was transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance and ultimately arrested for resisting and criminal damage to property.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 12:40am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 48-year-old female subject. No charges were substantiated from the disturbance. The subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant and bail jumping.
