The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 3/10/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 3/11/2025, MPD received 488 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (71),East (101), Midtown (83), North (81), South (60), West (74), and Other (18). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 3:18am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 54-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic criminal damage to property.
East/Sexual Assault – 8:40am: A subject reported being sexually assaulted the night before. Investigation continuing.
Midtown/Adult Arrested Person – 11:54am: A 38-year-old male subject, wanted, was taken into custody on 26 counts of bail jumping. He was also arrested for resisting.
West/Domestic Disturbance – 3:48pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic strangulations.
North/Traffic Incident – 3:56pm: A driver (31-year-old male) struck a water utility vehicle that was parked in the center lane conducting business. No injuries. The driver was cited for inattentive driving and non-registration of vehicle.
Central/Assist MFD – 4:18pm: Officers responded, along with MFD, to a structure fire. MPD provided traffic control and scene management.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 5:30pm: Officers responded to a report of a possible suicidal subject (28-year-old male). The subject was taken into protective custody. The subject was initially conveyed to Detox but denied. The subject was transported to a local hospital. The subject grabbed an officer's duty belt and attempted to disarm them of their taser. The subject was arrested for attempt to disarm a peace officer.
West/Adult Arrested Person – 9:01pm: A 35-year-old male subject was arrested on a probation/parole warrant. He was also charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and obstruction.
Central/Disturbance – 9:11pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 35-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, trespassing, resisting, outstanding probable cause (2 counts of disorderly conduct), and a probation/parole hold.

South/Check Person – 4:03am: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject. The subject was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. Final outcome pending.
