The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Thursday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 3/13/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 3/17/2025, MPD received 1,836 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (361),East (402), Midtown (327), North (263), South (217), West (216), and Other (50). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

East/Accidental Discharge – 9:39am: Officers responded to an accidental discharge that occurred overnight. No injuries reported. A 28-year-old male subject was cited for discharge of firearms ordinance.
West/Domestic Disturbance – 11:06am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 21-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic criminal damage to property, and criminal trespassing.
West/Trespassing – 11:10am: A 72-year-old female subject was contacted about trespassing at a business the day prior. The subject was warned for her behavior and trespassed from the property.
East/Runaway Juvenile – 11:15am: A 13-year-old female subject ran away form school. Attempt to locate aired. Areas checked. The subject was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.
South/Check Person – 11:39am: Officers responded to a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital. Final outcome pending.
West/Child Neglect – 4:05pm:: Officers responded to a report of an unattended child with no parents located. Both parents eventually show up at home, under the influence. Child Protective Custody responded and took custody of the child. A 33-year-old male subject was arrested for felony child neglect and possession of cocaine. A 26-year-old female subject was arrested for felony child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 4:37pm: Officers responded to check the welfare of a subject (21-year-old male). The subject was not cooperative with officers and began to resist. The subject was arrested for resisting causing injury (officer injured) and a probation hold.
South/Sexual Assault of a Child – 4:54pm: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault of a child. Child Protective Services notified. Investigation continuing.
North/Intoxicated Driver – 8:31pm: Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash. Injuries sustained. A 55-year-old female driver was cited for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (4th offense) as she was admitted to the hospital with injuries. All injuries considered non-life threatening.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 8:33pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 36-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
East/Accidental Discharge – 10:43pm: A 21-year-old male subject shot himself in the leg after taking his gun apart to clean it. The subject was cited for discharge of a firearm. The subject sought medical attention at a local hospital.
North/Mental Health Conveyance – 11:35pm: Officers responded to a local hospital for a disturbance taking place. An emergency detention was sought and approved. Transport to Winnebago pending.

Central/Fight – 2:48am: Officers responded to numerous subjects flighting in the 500 block of N. Henry St. One of the subjects was armed with a sword. An 18-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and cited for underage drinking. A 20-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, resisting, and obstructing.
West/Domestic Disturbance – 5:16am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 47-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.
West/Mental Health Conveyance – 5:16am: A suicidal subject was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. The subject was voluntary and officers disengaged.
North/Adult Arrested Person – 7:21am: A 30-year-old male subject, with an active warrant, was taken into custody and booked into jail. He was also charged with resisting.
Central/Domestic Disturbance – 3:44pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 50-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct while armed and carrying a concealed weapon (knife).
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 4:06pm: Officers responded to a report of a 27-year-old male subject making females uncomfortable at a park. The subject was contacted. The subject was uncooperative with officers. Officers observed a handle of a gun in the subject's vest pocket. The subject was detained. 4 firearms, a baton, and OC were located on the subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and bail jumping. The firearms were taken for safekeeping.
South/Child Abuse – 4:35pm: Officers responded to a report of child abuse involving a 19-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for physical abuse to a child and criminal damage to property.
Midtown/Death Investigation – 7:18pm: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (64-year-old male). Nothing suspicious identified.
Central/Disturbance – 9:02pm: Officers responded to a disturbance between two subjects. A 16-year-old female subject was arrested for resisting. A second 16-year-old female subject was arrested for resisting, disorderly conduct, discharge of bodily fluids at an officer, and threats to a law enforcement officer.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 11:08pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 38-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, domestic false imprisonment, and obstructing.

Central/Disturbance – 12:47am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, criminal damage to property, and resisting.
Midtown/Runaway Juvenile – 10:54am: A 16-year-old male subject was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.
North/Disturbance – 1:42pm: Officers responded to a report of a road rage incident involving a gun. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle. A 69-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed. The gun was collected as evidence.
Central/Disturbance – 1:56pm: Officers responded to the 500 block of State St for a report of a stabbing. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Areas searched for the suspect. Investigation continuing.
West/Recovered Stolen Autos – 1:57pm: An officer observed two stolen vehicles in an open garage. Additional resources were called to the area. Several subjects observed fleeing the home on foot. 4 out of 5 subjects apprehended. 2 additional subjects contacted. A 25-year-old male subject was arrested for possession with intent to deliver THC, resisting, felony bail jumping, and an outstanding warrant. A 33-year-old male subject was arrested for resisting. A 36-year-old male subject was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, possession with intent to deliver THC, resisting, possession of a machine gun, and an outstanding warrant. A 24-year-old male subject was arrested for resisting, possession with intent to deliver THC, and a probation hold. A 27-year-old male subject was arrested for resisting, possession with intent to deliver THC, and carrying a concealed weapon. A 40-year-old male subject was arrested for resisting and possession with intent to deliver Schedule II narcotics.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 5:40pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 45-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, felony criminal damage to property, and threats to law enforcement (2 counts).
East/Adult Arrested Person – 9:08pm: A 41-year-old male subject was arrested on a probation hold and possession of cocaine. He was also cited for trespassing.
Central/Disturbance – 9:50pm: Officers responded to a disturbance with a knife. A 34-year-old male subject was arrested for possession of cocaine and a probation hold. A 24-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed.
East/Disturbance – 11:55pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 38-year-old male subject. The subject was cited for resisting and released.

East/Disturbance – 12:20am: Officers responded to a disturbance with a gun. A 44-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed and possession of cocaine.
East/Check Area – 4:12am: Officers responded to Milkyway for several reports of shots fired. An apartment was entered. It was unoccupied but multiple casings, a holster, and blood were present. Bullet holes observed. A subject arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds to their hands. Investigation continuing.
Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 9:37am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery, disorderly conduct, and felony bail jumping.
Central/Disturbance – 1:06pm: A 43-year-old female subject caused a disturbance at the St. Patrick's Day parade. Contact was made with the subject, who was uncooperative and spit at officers. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and expelling bodily fluids at public safety workers (2 counts).
South/Adult Arrested Person – 4:48pm: Officers responded to a subject (25-year-old male) being injured due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound (hand). No firearm located. Ammunition, drugs, and paraphernalia observed. Charges forthcoming for the subject – 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, felon in possession of a firearm, intoxicated use of a firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia. *Warrant executed – gun located/recovered.
East/Disturbance – 6:17pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 21-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

South/Domestic Disturbance – 1:56am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 55-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed (2 counts) and criminal damage to property.
