The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 3/25/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 3/26/2025, MPD received 427 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (77),East (75), Midtown (65), North (73), South (64), West (67), and Other (6). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

North/Mental Health Conveyance – 1:53am: A subject was transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. Emergency detention sought/approved. Final outcome pending.
East/Death Investigation – 2:48pm: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (28-year-old male). Death self-inflicted. Nothing suspicious identified.
East/Check Person – 4:49pm: A subject was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. Final outcome pending. *Emergency detention sought/approved. Subject transported to Winnebago.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 9:10pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, battery, and false imprisonment.
Central/Check Person – 11:25pm: A subject was transported to a local hospital after they advised an officer they had been using drugs, alcohol, and believed they had been sexually assaulted. Subject left in the care of medical staff and officers disengaged at this time.

Midtown/Adult Arrested Person – 1:45am: Officers made contact with two subjects (46-year-old male and 45-year-old male) who had outstanding warrants. Both were arrested and transported to jail. They were also cited for trespassing.
