By simply checking out your commuting options you may be able to find a quick and easy rideshare pool, State Vanpool, Metro Transit route, ped./bike path, or park n ride lot option.  The Rideshare Etc Program is a free, government sponsored service that provides help and assistance to commuters based on their individual circumstances for using an alternative means of transportation, including:

Rideshare Etc. works in partnership with Madison Metro, the State Vanpool Program, Dane County, City of Madison, Madison Area M.P.O, UW-Madison, and other public and private employers throughout the area. The program serves commuters in a 48-county area of central and southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The goal of the program is to reduce congestion, pollution, and save on transportation costs.
