The Streets Division collects holiday trees for processing into mulch.

Each neighborhood will receive two collection opportunities. You may also bring your trees to our drop-off sites.

Round One begins on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Round Two begins on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Holiday Tree Collection Rules

To avoid damage to our equipment, you must follow these guidelines.  Trees that are not properly prepared will NOT be collected:

Drop-Off Sites

You may also bring your holiday trees to our drop off sites.

Check the Streets Division drop-off site website for hours and locations.

Wreaths, Boughs, Evergreen Ropes, etc.?

These items belong in the trash.

Crews collecting trees will not collect these items.

They often contain wires that can damage wood chipping equipment.

Snowstorms and Tree Collection

Collection could be delayed or canceled due to winter weather. Snow and ice operations have priority over tree collection.

Crews will not dig out trees buried by snow or frozen to the curb. You may need to dig your tree out from the snow if a storm hits while tree collection is ongoing.
