Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: The Parkwood Hills Neighborhood is on Madison's near west side. Our neighborhood covers an area south of Old Sauk Rd, west of South Yellowstone Drive/Grand Canyon Drive, east of Gammon Road/Acadia Drive and north of Mineral Point Road. Neighborhood is made up of residential housing and borders the 93 acre Owen Conservation Park (home to 3.4 miles of trails, cross-country ski trails and 3 wildlife ponds). Parkwood Hills is the only Madison neighborhood walkable to all three public schools (elementary, middle and high school). The Lussier Community Center is also within walking distance.
Neighborhood Boundaries: Old Sauk Road on the north, Ozark Trail, South Yellowstone Drive and Grand Canyon Drive on the east, Mineral Point Road on the south, Gammon Road and Acadia Drive on the west
Neighborhood Statistics Indicators: The Neighborhood Indicators Project is a demonstration of key characteristics and various indicators that relate to the quality of life in Madison at the neighborhood level. Basic neighborhood information as well as housing, public safety, health and family well-being, economic, and transportation indicators by neighborhood is available.
