Cherokee Marsh: Fall Family Frolic with Nelson Eisman
Enjoy hot chocolate around a campfire and join Naturalist Nelson Eisman for a free family and kid friendly fall walk at beautiful Cherokee Marsh to see the changing colors. Learn how bugs and frogs cleverly cuddle in for winter and other natural wonders.

Free, family-friendly Bird and Nature Walks are offered year-round on Sunday afternoons 1:30-3:00 pm. Discover the hidden natural areas in four of Madison's most beautiful parks and conservancies. Volunteer trip leaders and participants share their enthusiasm about nature and the birds, plants, and animals. Walks are on easy paths through scenic areas. Enjoy healthy nature recreation with a bit of nature education!

No registration is required. Please wear appropriate clothing, insect repellant, and footwear for the weather and hiking. Dogs are not allowed. Binoculars, cameras and children are welcome! For more information or to volunteer, contact Paul Noeldner (608) 698-0104.
