Joint Campus Area Committee
The Joint Campus Area Committee (JCAC) is made up of 20 representatives from the UW-Madison, Village of Shorewood Hills, City of Madison neighborhoods, and City of Madison committee members. Created under MGO 33.32, the JCAC provides feedback on UW-Madison projects to the Design Review Board (DRB) established under the UW-Madison Campus Master Plan. The Campus Master Plan was approved in 2018 by the City under the Campus-Institutional zoning district (MGO 28.097), which was "established to recognize the City's major educational and medical institutions as important activity centers and traffic generators, accommodate the growth and development needs of these institutions, and coordinate the master plans of these institutions with the City's plans, policies and zoning standards."
