Equal Access Services
The City of Madison is committed to providing equal opportunity and equal access to all City programs and services in order to ensure full compliance with all civil rights laws.
Language and cultural barriers can make it difficult for people with limited English skills to take advantage of City of Madison services and resources. Many times City staff may not know how to contact them, speak their language, or understand how to reduce barriers to their participation. These guidelines further the City's commitment to broadening access to City.
The City of Madison through the Department of Civil Rights runs the Disability Rights & Services Program and is responsible for ensuring that people with disabilities can fully engage in City of Madison Services and Programs.
