Breastfeeding
If you are breastfeeding, we want you to be successful!
To get help planning your return to work while breastfeeding, or with questions about working and breastfeeding, consult with a public health nurse by calling our breastfeeding line at (608) 243-0449 or check out our online resources at the Breastfeeding Education and Support, PHMDC.
Private lactation rooms are available on the 2nd and 5th floor of the City-County Building to express breast milk. Room 200 on the 2nd floor is unlocked from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday when not in use. The lactation room in 507 on the 5th floor can be accessed from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday by coming to the receptionist desk through the main door. Alternatively, reserve a conference room for breastfeeding.
